Zimbabwe Client Visits Our Factory for Pre-Delivery Testing of 33kV Composite Insulators
Last week, Shandong Weichite Electric Technology Co., Ltd., was honored to welcome a delegation of esteemed guests from Zimbabwe's national power utility. The purpose of their visit was to conduct an on-site evaluation of our manufacturing capabilities and, most importantly, to witness the comprehensive pre-delivery testing of the custom-ordered 33kV composite insulators for their project.
Accompanied by our technical engineers, the clients toured our composite insulator production floor. We provided a detailed walkthrough of key processes, from core rod selection and fitting assembly to the injection molding of silicone rubber sheds. The clients expressed strong approval of our automated production lines and rigorous QC checkpoints.
The highlight of the visit was the pre-delivery testing conducted in our high-voltage laboratory. Following IEC standards, our testing team performed a series of critical tests on the 33kV composite insulators destined for Africa. These included visual and dimensional checks, mechanical load tolerance tests, steep impulse tests, and power frequency dry and wet withstand voltage tests. Our engineers explained the data in real-time, while the clients meticulously documented the process and asked questions. When all test items were passed successfully on the first attempt, with the final report exceeding the technical agreement requirements, the client representative, Mr. Smith, smiled with satisfaction. He commented, "We are impressed by your professional facility and transparent testing process. It gives us full confidence in the quality and reliability of your products."
This factory visit and testing witness was not just a strict product acceptance procedure but a significant step in strengthening mutual trust and collaboration. At Shandong Weichite Electric Technology Co., Ltd., we firmly believe that quality is the passport to the global market. We are confident that this batch of high-quality 33kV composite insulators will contribute reliably to the stability of Zimbabwe's power grid and pave the way for broader cooperation in the future.
