Advantages of 11kv composite post insulator
In 11kV transmission lines, composite composite post insulator insulators are widely used due to their numerous advantages, including lightweight, high strength, resistance to aging, and high-temperature tolerance. Additionally, their ease of installation has led to extensive use worldwide, particularly in the African market, where they are gradually replacing the heavier ceramic insulators. The core materials of this product consist of: ECR glass fiber core rod (acid-resistant) + HTV silicone rubber sheath (hydrophobic HC1 grade). The mechanical strength reaches 120 kN, and the flashover voltage is 2.5 times that of porcelain insulators. The product has passed IEC 61109 certification. The connectors are cast from high-strength carbon steel (Q235) with hot-dip galvanization (withstanding over 1,000 hours of salt spray corrosion testing). The core rod is connected using pressure welding technology, and ultrasonic testing ensures no cracks.
